Emilia GOGU is the Head of research Office within the International Relations, Projects, Cooperation and Research Direction of ARACIS and member of Specialty Commission no. 13 – Distance learning and part-time learning education. Since 2017 – expert evaluator within the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research from the Republic of Moldova (ANACEC). Among the relevant materials written in the area of quality assurance, we find the „Barometer of the Quality of the Higher Education System” (2015), „Genesis and evolution of higher education in Romania – in statistical data” (2018), „Centennial evolution of education in Romania” (2018).
The professional career in the higher education environment accumulates approximately 25 years, currently being Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Econometrics of The Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) and a member of the Council of the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics. In parallel with university activities, she is involved in various organizations related to the professional area, such as a member of the Romanian Society of Statistics within the National Institute of Statistics (since 2001), a founding member of the Club of Romanian Statisticians (since 2014), external referent – Amfiteatru Economic journal (SSCI indexed).
