Project objectives:
– contribute to the promotion of gender equality in research and development by supporting a reflective gender equality policy in seven innovative institutions for gender equality in the Mediterranean basin;
– initiate a national discourse on gender equality in research and development;
– to contribute to the international discourse by providing tools and comparative analyzes.
Expected results:
The project initiates institutional change in seven innovative gender equality institutions in the Mediterranean basin, including research organizations, research funding organizations and a network of universities. The TARGET approach goes beyond the formal adoption of a gender equality policy, focusing on an iterative and reflective process towards ensuring equality at the institutional level and strengthening a community of practice to support gender equality within the institution.
