Gianina Chirazi is the Director of the National Center for the Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED) within the Ministry of Education and Research and, in this capacity, serves as Romania’s national representative in the European ENIC/NARIC Network of National Recognition Centers and as a negotiator of international agreements that Romania concludes in the field of recognition; for the 2023–2025 period, she is also a member of the Advisory Committee of the NARIC Network.
At the same time, Director Chirazi fulfills the role of National Coordinator for the Recognition of National Qualifications and National Coordinator for the implementation of the Internal Market Information System (IMI) in the field of the Recognition of Professional Qualifications, representing Romania in the relevant European structures.
Under Ms. Chirazi’s leadership, CNRED has qualitatively and quantitatively enhanced its administrative capacity and the range of its professional activities to address the ongoing challenges at both national and European levels in the fields of recognition and regulation of professions.
In her work, Director Gianina Chirazi advocates for the promotion of national practices regarding academic and professional recognition in alignment with international standards and requirements, with the aim of providing citizens with a high-quality, transparent, and coherent public service.
