Lecturer Dr. Oana Salomia is currently the Education and Culture Attaché, with the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary, at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the EU in Brussels. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of recognition.

Her work within CNRED has focused primarily on the negotiation and transposition of European directives regarding the recognition of professional qualifications for the purpose of practicing a regulated profession.

This expertise has been applied, since 2014, in her role as a TAIEX expert for the Turkish Cypriot community. Oana Salomia has also participated in implementation teams for EU-funded projects and in various training sessions at both national and European levels.
