Background
ARACIS is a member of ENAEE and has been authorized since 2013 to award the EUR-ACE® (EURopean-ACcredited Engineer) label to bachelor’s degree programs in engineering, accredited through ARACIS evaluation procedures.
To this end, ARACIS is periodically subject to external evaluation procedures carried out by ENAEE.
In September 2021, the ARACIS Council approved the documentation for the re-authorization of ARACIS by ENAEE and communicated it to the Network in order to start the external evaluation process. Subsequently, between 31 May and 4 June 2022, the first evaluation visit conducted by ENAEE experts took place at the ARACIS headquarters and at Transilvania University of Brașov. From 23 to 25 November 2022, the second evaluation visit conducted by ENAEE experts took place at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
Following the external evaluation process conducted by ENAEE, on 25 April 2023, the ENAEE Administrative Council, based on the recommendation of the EUR-ACE Label Committee, approved the reauthorization of the agency to award the EUR-ACE label until 31 December 2025. Subsequently, the Administrative Council of ENAEE approved extending the agency’s reauthorization to award the EUR-ACE® label until 31 December 2027.
