Background

ARACIS has become a member of The Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) International Quality Group (CIQG) as of 19 September 2023.

CIQG represents a network of higher education professionals from around the world dedicated to promoting high-quality higher education internationally.

The CIQG aims to support quality assurance efforts in higher education globally through dialogue and collaborative research.

Activities within the CHEA-CIQG

As a member of CHEA-CIQG, ARACIS can participate in the annual conferences/events/webinars and has the opportunity to collaborate with other experts within the CIQG community.

The agency also has access to the CIQG quarterly newsletter, Quality International News (QI News), and can propose contributions for publication. Thus, in the March 2024 issue, an article submitted by ARACIS regarding the external evaluation of the UNITA Alliance of European Universities was published.
