Background
ARACIS is registered in EQAR since 2009 and, in order to renew its registration, submits its application for renewal every five years and undergoes an external review to demonstrate its substantial compliance with the ESG.
Following the most recent ENQA-coordinated external review of ARACIS (targeted review conducted between 2022-2023), EQAR considered the external review report of September 20th , 2023 on the compliance of ARACIS with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015) and in December 2023, the Register Committee of EQAR approved the application of ARACIS for renewal of inclusion on the European Quality Assurance Register for a period of five years, until September 30th , 2028.
In the context of ARACIS starting a new external evaluation activity in 2021, namely the evaluation of doctoral studies, it was necessary to submit to EQAR a Substantive Change Report in which this new activity was presented. The Report was approved by the Registry Committee and published on the EQAR website in December 2021.
Activities within EQAR
ARACIS participates in the events organized by EQAR, contributes to surveys, is partner in international projects, together with EQAR (for example, the DEQAR project ) etc.
As part of ARACIS collaboration with EQAR, in the previous years the sustainability activities of the project “The Database of External Quality Assurance Reports (DEQAR)”, coordinated by EQAR, continued, ARACIS being one of the partner quality assurance agencies.
