Background
ARACIS is full a member of ENQA since 2009 and undergoes an external review every five years in order to demonstrate its compliance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area and maintain the membership of ENQA.
The most recent ENQA coordinated external review of ARACIS took place between 2022 and 2023 and, as a result of this evaluation, the ENQA Board reconfirmed, on February 28th , 2024, the quality of ARACIS as an ENQA member agency, for the next five years, starting with the above-mentioned date and concluded that ARACIS is in compliance with the Standards and Guidelines for QualityAssuranceQuality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015).
Activities within ENQA
As a member of ENQA, ARACIS participates in the events organized by the association as well as in international projects as partner (for example ESQA project), submits contributions for the ENQA Newsletter, shares news about its activity and ARACIS calls for international experts or calls for papers, participates in the elaboration of studies, responds to surveys etc.
The recognition of ARACIS participation in ENQA’s activities materialized through the election of Prof. Daniela-Cristina Ghițulică initially as a member of the ENQA Board (2018) and, later, as Vice-President of ENQA (2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023).
