Sergiu is a student representative on the Board of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS) and a full member of the Romanian Economic and Social Council, where he was elected to represent the field of education. He also serves as the President of the National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania (ANOSR), the largest national student federation in the country.

He began his academic journey at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest.

Sergiu’s work focuses on representing students’ rights and interests, with active involvement in education policy, quality assurance, and the promotion of a safe, inclusive, and equitable academic environment for all young people pursuing higher education.

In his role as President of ANOSR, he also engages in civic actions, working alongside fellow students from across Romania to contribute to societal development through public statements, advocacy, demonstrations, and lobbying efforts.
