Background
ARACIS has been a member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education – INQAAHE since the Agency’s establishment in 2005.
Activities within INQAAHE
The agency is represented at INQAAHE by Prof. Simona Lache, Phd. Eng., member of the ARACIS Commission of Institutional Evaluation for Managerial and Financial Activities, former Director of the Accreditation Department of ARACIS, who was elected for a new term on the Board of Directors of the Network (April 2024, September 2021).
As a member of INQAAHE, ARACIS participates in the events and activities carried out by the Network, such as opinion polls, submits contributions to the INQAAHE Newsletter, participates in the election of the Network’s management.
Thus, the July 2025 edition of INQAAHE Newsletter inlcuded ARACIS’s contribution on the organization of a series of four international webinars addressing the Bologna Process and the three key commitments essential for the functioning the European Education Area.
Between June 10th and 12th, 2024, ARACIS, in collaboration within the National University of Science amd Technology POITEHNICA Bucharest (UNSTPB), hosted the INQAAHE Forum 2024, themed ”Transforming Society: Social Responsibility through Quality Assurance of Tertiary Education”. This event brought together more than 170 participants from 52 countries, including professionals in quality assurance, academics, researchers, and other key stakeholders.
In the context in which, in 2021, ARACIS carried out the external evaluation of the doctoral studies, the agency elaborated and sent for publication, in the INQAAHE Newsletter for December 2021 (published in 2022), the contribution entitled “Evaluation to the third cycle of university (doctoral) studies”.
