The Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS) was registered in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR)
The Council of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education – ARACIS has the pleasure of informing the academic community and other stakeholders that, as of 30 September 2009, in compliance with the decision of the Analysis Committee of applications, ARACIS was registered in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education – EQAR. This decision is meant to recognise the results of the continuous efforts made by ARACIS, together with the academic community members, in order to effectively develop and assure quality culture in the Romanian higher education, in European context.

ARACIS, full member of ENQA
The Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS) informs its stakeholders that on 2 June 2009, the Executive Board of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) considered the ARACIS’ external evaluation report drawn up by the international expert team coordinated by ENQA.
After analysing and discussing upon the report, the ENQA Executive Board approved to grant the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS) the status of full member in this association, for a five-year period, as it ascertained that the Romanian agency is substantially compliant with the European Standards and Guidelines for quality assurance in higher education (ESG).
We remind that ARACIS has also received very favourable judgements as a result of external evaluations previously carried out by the European University Association (EUA) and by the European Students’ Union (ESU).
